Ashley Kuramoto is passionate about sharing her love for the outdoors with others. She is a local teacher in the Qualicum School District who specializes in Outdoor Education and play-based learning. She is set to graduate with her Master’s from Queens University this Spring after completing research in Outdoor Education and creating her Little Adventurers on Vancouver Island Series. She wanted her books to mean more than just getting outside and going on adventures. She wanted her readers to understand the impact we have on our outdoor spaces to to respect them. Her first year since publishing her first edition she sold over 1400 copies, donated over $8000 to local charities and is currently working on her 4th edition set to launch Spring 2024.
