This is our core program which provides tutors to adults in the community who wish to upgrade their basic skills. We offer help with basic reading, writing, math and computers. Each learner is assessed, and receives an individualized program to meet his / her needs and is then carefully matched with a trained volunteer tutor. The tutor / learner pair work together for up to three hours per week, usually at Literacy Central.
