We gratefully acknowledge the traditional territories of the Snuneymuxw, Stz’uminus and
Snaw-Naw-As Nations, as well as the home of the Mid-Island Métis Nation.
LCVI is proud to provide free literacy tutoring programs and accessible workshops to community members to promote life-long learning of literacy. Since established in 1990, we have been growing our programs to support learners in our community the best we can.

Our Volunteers
Our over 100 volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization. We would not be able to offer our free and accessible literacy services to the community without their support. We are forever grateful for each and every volunteer who has offered their time and commitment to LCVI.

Volunteering at our small literacy organization allows me to see the immediate impact of my efforts. Watching someone gain confidence through reading is incredibly rewarding and reminds me of the power of education.
